(N.Z. Press Association) ■ WELLINGTON, Jan. 26. A young boy died when! he was pulled into a hopper! on a farm near Featherston, today. The boy, Evan John l Mellish, aged 10, was feeding! rye com into the hopper i when the shovel he was' using w r as caught in thejl hopper’s rollers and dragged J him in to the roller. The boy’s father, Mr S. R.; Mellish, was in a nearby , bam w’here the com w’as be-i ing fed w r hen die accident, happened. He was alerted < when the machinery stopped. ,<
