Theft charge

AUCKLAND, Jan. 13.
An accountant entered po plea to a charge of stealing a cheque worth $19,000 from his employer when he appeared in tbe Otahuhu Magistrate’s Court today. William Cosgrove Irvine, aged 31, was charged with stealing the cheque from Colson Builders, Ltd. Mr T. R. Gillies, S.M., remanded him in custody to January 20 to enable him to seek legal advice.
