DUNEDIN, Jan. 12.
Dunedin firemen support the formation of a national union.
At a two-hour meeting of members of the Dunedin Fire Brigades’ Union this morning, it was resolved to support action for a national union.
Union amalgamation and nationalisation of the fire service will be discussed at a meeting in Wellington on Wednesday between representatives of fire service unions and the Fire Brigades’ Federation.
