GENEVA, Nov. 15.
The New Zealand Government will contribute $lOO,OOO to the World Council of Churches fund for reconstruction in Indo-China to help rebuild the Hai Duong Hospital, in North Vietnam. The W.C.C. said today that the Prime Minister (Mr Rowling) had informed it of the gift in a letter, in which he said, “My Government is particularly interested in the arrangements to assist in the reconstruction of Hai Duong Hospital in Hai Hung province. In our view, this is a particularly worth-while project which deserves New Zealand’s support." He said the hospital grant was part of a slom fund for the rehabilitation of Indo-Chinese nations.
