Sun seeker
Sir, — I would point out to “Nelsonian” that, if he reads his newspaper properly, he will find that the weather conditions have been poor over most of the world, and not just in Christchurch. Perhaps he can explain why the Matai River in Nelson has caused havoc several times in- the last few years? As for air pollution and noise, I agree with “Nelsonian”; but does, he not realise that, while we bicker, at least we are taking an interest in things? Perhaps if “Nelsonian,” spoke and smiled at people, instead of waiting for hospitality, he might get somewhere. It is the recipe I use, and can honestly say that I have never had it fail, wherever I have been. I have even had to use it in “Sunny Nelson,” which I love. — Yours etc., CHRISTCHURCH BORN.
