Charge of theft
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Oct. 25. Police arrested a 33-year-old Australian on Waiheke Island this afternoon and charged him with stealing $10,400 from Kingseat Hospital on Wednesday. A police spokesman said that $lO,OOO was found in a hotel bedroom and the man was arrested near the hotel. Later, the man’s car was found in the Auckland railway station car park. The man will appear in the Otahuhu Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
