Seamen to stop work
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 25. Seamen throughout the country are to hold a series of stop-work meetings next Tuesday to hear executive committee reports on impending Government legislation which might affect their union membenship and the whole transport industry. The decision was announced today by the seamen’s union president (Mr J. D. Morgan) after a committee meeting in Wellington.
