He is Mr I. H. Reed, aged ,23 years, who farms 1250 ! acres in partnership with his j brother, Mr B. G. Reed, at Darfield, Glentunnel, and in ! the Sheffield valley. Mr lan ; Reed looks after the cattle side of "the enterprise. His 1 brother was recently runnerup in the Skellerup Young’ Farmer of the Year contest.! A member of the commit-; i tee of the Darfield Young | Farmers Club, Mr lan Reed: I was born and brought up in (the district, and since leaving] Christ’s College has spent I most of his time on the home, j property. i He will leave New Zealand lin February to spend six I months in Britain.
