Soviet party to visit
Fifteen Soviet tourists will arrive in Christchurch at the end of the month. The tourist group, led by Vladimir Bekman, chairman of the Writers’ Union of Estonia and a member of the U.S.S.R. Parliament will be in Christchurch for two days. Their New Zealand visit will also include Auckland, Wellington, and Dunedin.
The visit is part of a 30day trip that will also include Australia and Fiji.
