SIX HURT ON ROADS
Six persons W'ere injured, one of them seriously, in road accidents in Christchurch at the week-end.
Francis Webster, aged 73, of 13 Riiev Crescent, Woolston, suffered serious head and internal injuries when two cars collided at the intersection of Gloucester Street and Stanmore Road about 6.25 p.m. on Saturday. He was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital, where he was on the seriously ill list and in a fair condition last evening. Thomas John Harpa, aged 19, of 15 Charlesworth Street, Woolston, suffered head, neck and leg injuries when the car he was in rolled over at the corner of Ferry Road and Aidwins Road. Woolston, about 7.5 a.m. yesterday.
He was in a fairly satisfactory’ condition in Princess Margaret Hospital last evening. Allan John Donachie, aged 17. of 21 Sewell Street, North Linwood, suffered lacerations to the arms and legs when the car he was in hit a pole; in lower Colombo Street' about 1.25 a.m. on Sunday. He was in a satisfactorycondition in Princess Margaret Hosnital last evening. Chervl Anne Wolland, aged 15. of 69 Brook Street, Bexlev. suffered back and head injuries in the same accident. She was in a satisfactory condition in Christchurch Hospital last evening. Andrew David Marshall.( aged 13, of 14 Siddal Place, Richmond, suffered head and internal injuries when he wasi hit by a car at the intersec-1 tion of Avalon Street and; McLeod Street, Richmond, about 11.55 p.m. on Saturday.; He was admitted to Prin-I cess Margaret Hospital.! where his condition last even-1 ing was fairlv comfortable.
Mrs Tagisia Fepuleai. aged 66. of 23 Cottonwood Street.: North New Brighton, suffered head and leg injuries when I two cars collided at the intersection of Madras Street and Cashel Street at 4 p.m. on Saturday. Her condition in Princess Margaret Hospital last evening was fairly comfortable. ‘
