Kirks have visa delay
CN.Z. Pre>» 4>sn—Copyright) LONDON.
Mrs Ruth Kirk and her two daughters encountered more problems when they left for the United States at the end of their brief visit to London for the former Prime Minister's memorial service at Westminster Abbey. At London Airport airline officials refused permission for the daughters, Mrs Margaret -Thompson and Robyn, who is 11, to leave on their scheduled aircraft because they did not have United States visas.
A quick journey had to be made to the American Embassy to obtain visas; and the three of them left on another flight about three hours later. On the trip to Britain, baggage belonging to the three went missing for 24 hours.
