(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 1. Emphasis on the importance and scope of the New Zealand-Atustralia Free Trade Agreement by the Minister of Trade and Industry, (Mr Freer), was welcomed today by the Opposition spokesman for industries ana commerce, Mr L. R. AdamsSchneider. “Considering the strong criticism that was voiced by the present Government when in opposition,” Mr Adams-Schneider said, “of the National Government’s decision to enter N.A.F.T.A., the new attitude now being taken by the Minister is indeed refreshing.” Mr Adams-Schneider also welcomed reports that New Zealand firms have been getting good orders from trade fairs in Australia this week.
