Tahiti accepts invitation
Tahiti is the second country to accept an invitation to contest the men’s basketball tournament at the New Zealand Games in January. The first was Australia. New Zealand has made arrangements to select a team and replies to invitations to the Philippines and Canada are still awaited. Canada tvas added to the list when it was known it was planning to send a team to Australia early next year.
