Lunch-time concert
A mezzo-soprano, Margaret Daly, a cellist, Brigid O’Meeghan, and the Nova Trio will be featured tomorrow in the final recital in the lunch-hour series in the C.S.A. gallery. Miss Daly will sing Dvorak’s Gipsy Songs and some Schubert hider, accompanied by Wallace Woodley (piano). Miss O’Meeghan will play part of a Bach suite for unaccompanied cello. The Nova Trio will play a movement from the Mendelssohn Trio in D minor. This group won the final of the schools’ chamber music contest in Wellington. The members are Jenny Long (violin), Gay Hadcroft (cello) and Clare Newburgh (piano).
