Tatana’s contract

(N.Z. Press Assn—Copyright) SYDNEY. St George have re-entered the big spending league with a $30,000 pay-out for the New Zealand front-row Rugby league forward, Henry Tatana, of CanterburyBankstown. Tatana agreed to terms by phone and a two-year contract was sent in the mail to New Zealand. Tatana’s contract is believed to be $12,000 a season plus a $5OOO fee paid to Canterbury-Bankstown. The signing of the New Zealander will ensure that G. F. Langlands will remain as captain-coach. Langlands had made it clear that he would only coach the side if the forward strength was built up.
