(“The Press” Special Service) HASTINGS. Just Tops showed by his gal lop at Hastings yesterday morning that he was going to take a lot of beating in the Founders’ Plate at Te Rapa. He galloped with Master Morgan and beat him. On the plough. Just Tops (Miss Saxon) beat Master Morgan (Irvine) over seven furlongs in Imin 33 3-ssec, the last five in Imin 7 3-ssec, and the final three in 40 4-sscc.
