Prince Cicero and St Charlemagne provided the highlights of training at Otaki yesterday morning in preparation for the Wanganui Guineas meeting. Working well out on the course proper, the pair finished on terms after 1000 m in I:4£. the final 800 m in 51sec and the last 600 m in 38 3-ssec. Prince Cicero was withdrawn from Foxton last week on account of the easy track. He is inclined to hit himself on slippery ground.
