Sir, —It is highly satisfactory to those who oppose the policy of the World Council of Churches of financing terrorists and racial discrimination against South Africa, that the National Council of Churches has received much reduced contributions from the New Zealand public. If
3.the N.C.C. plays with fire it ■ must get its fingers burnt! ’ Leading clerics in the N.C.C. have given their support to Communist-armed and trained terrorist groups in Africa, not to mention the Viet Cong, which indicates the political
views of these people. The N.C.C. has made payment to CORSO of money to cover up expenditure on slanted propaganda aimed at South Africa. It would be interesting to know how much money the council has passed on to the World Council of Churches and protest groups, excluding the $2OOO paid out to whitewash the W.C.C. payment of $300,000 plus to murder gangs in Africa.— Yours, etc., THE WALRUS.
