“The Water Cycle”
Sir, — Today at school we saw a film called “The Water Cycle” and we are horrified to see the things that we are doing to our country. If every one of us cares, let us start now to clean up and conserve New Zealand for future generations. How? Do not use detergents—use soap powder. Do not throw rubbish into rivers and lakes. Plan to treat and purify all
waste products. Clean up after picnics. Perhaps you can think of other ways to help. — Yours, etc., ROOM 20, Linwood North School. August 12, 1974.
