Muted horns
Sir, —I am glad that I have at last found another “Moo.” I had almost given up hope, and was beginning to think that my statement that apparently there are a lot of complcent people in Canterbury, was to be proved true. I am. a farmer’s son, and have sharemilked in the Waikato years ago, and realise that careful feeding can control animal odours — but what happens if they urinate? Cr Hay says that the Town Hall is meant to be a multi-purpose building. Certainly, but the line must be drawn somewhere. I remember on one occasion, after a professional wrestling match had turned into a fiasco, the authorities were hesitant as to whether to hold another bout in the Town Hall, but there seems to be no hesitation as legards having animals in and around this treasure of a building. — Yours, etc., MOO.
