Arctic post for dentist
(From Out Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, Aug. 12. A Greymouth dentist, Mr J. Burford, will leave tomorrow with his wife and family of four to practise for 18 months at Yellowknife, Canada, inside the Arctic Circle. He will join a group practice in the town, flying to outside communities — hazardous in winter when there is only an hour of sunshine a day. During his absence from Greymouth, his practice will be run by Mr G. Glen.
