Supporters thanked
The Emergency Home Aid Bureau Incorporated expressed its thanks to the public at a meeting yesterday for gifts received recently when the bureau had to be closed temporarily because of lack of funds.
The incorporated society reopened the bureau on August 5 when promised a grant of $6OOO from the Golden Kiwi Lottery Fund and a Government subsidy of 20c in the dollar towards home aids’ wages, said Mr W. Grant, secretary of the society.
