Antique stolen

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 12. A Ming Dynasty antique, described as a “twin-headed duck" and worth an estimated $2OOO, has been stolen from an Auckland auction room. Known as a “waterdropper” the article looks like a vase. It disappeared from a china cabinet during shopping hours. The firm told the police that a similar sixteenth century artefact fetched $lO,OOO in auction at Sotheby’s, London, recently.
