Fri almost on her way
<NZ Preu Association) WELLINGTON. August 11. The Fri may sail late tomorrow morning. Tonight it lay hove to about half a mile off Worser Bay Just after 2 p.m. the peace ship left Waterloo Quay. Hundreds of well-wishers turned up to bid her farewell and about 24 small craft escorted the former Baltic trader down the harbour. Most did not know that the ship was only making for Worser Bay. A focal resident rowed out to find out if the crew were all right. They told him they were, but that they had not been cleared by Customs. A spokesman for the Customs boarding staff in Wellington Mid the Fri was set down to be cleared at 10 a m tomorrow.
