Doctors at the Prince of Wales Hospital near the course are operating on Cassidy’s head, badly injured in a fall from the grey colt. Silver Light. Witnesses said that Cassidy was cantering Silver Light along the A grass track, when a rein broke. He fell from the horse, and his head struck a post. The geldmg careered away from the accident.
