Child drowns in pool
(N.Z. Press Association) ' HAMILTON, July 1. A child drowned in a private swimming pool at Tirau i yesterday. He was Michael Lawrence Collins, aged three, the son of Mr and Mrs J. A. Collins, of Freyberg Terrace, Putaruru. The police said the child was visiting his grandparents with his parents when he disappeared. lie was found drowned in a swimming pool about half a mile from the grandparents’ home.
