Man killed
A man was killed when his car left the road at Whisky bend, south of Rolleston, crashed through a fence and stopped on a railway line about 10 p.m. yesterday.
The man was the sole occupant of the car. His name has not been released. An ambulance was sent from Christchurch to bring the man’s body back to Christchurch Hospital.
