(N Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 20. Dentists have rejected an offer by the Government of a 27 per cent increase in fees paid for teen-age patients under the State dental benefits scheme. Mr J. S. Howie, chairman of the Dental Association, said today that the association would be meeting the Deputy Prime Minister (Mr Watt) before the end of this month, and he was hopeful of a satisfactory outcome. If the meeting failed to reach agreement, however, al! dentists belonging to the association would be advised to give notice of withdrawal from the scheme.
