Power from rubbish
<N.Z. Press Association? AUCKLAND, May 6. The Auckland ElectricPower Board has begun an investigation into the feasibility of generating electricity from the city’s rubbish. It decided today to invite the Auckland Regional Authority, which is studying rubbish disposal, to join it in the investigation. The board plans to call on the services of its London consultants, who have had considerable experience of rubbish-fired power stations in Britain and Europe.
