R.W.KING IS SUSPENDED
(W.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. R. W. King, the rider of Koporoa in the Avondale Championship Stakes on Saturday, was suspended up to and including May 8 for causing interference to Gilbert at the 1600 metres. R. J. Skelton, the rider of Montel in the Fred Smith Handicap. was fined $35 for causing interference to Gold Came early in the run home.
