Man badly injured
Two broken legs and: •serious head and internal • injuries were suffered by a man who was struck by a car at the intersection of Ferry Road and RadleyStreet about 12.30 a.m. on Sunday. The man is John Faithful, aged about 30, of 32 Stanmore Road. He was admitted to the ! resuscitation ward at Christchurch Hospital. A girl, aged 16, suffered a badly cut face when the car she was in struck a pole in Woodham Road, Linwood, about 12.15 a.m. on Sunday. The girl, Debra Janet Johnson. of 39 Jocelyn Street, Redwood, was admitted to Burwood Hospital where she underwent surgery.
