A real birthday for dog owner
Whisky, the pregnant dog which Mr Danny Sullivan refused to leave when his home in Tyne Street. Addington, was flooded on Tuesday evening, gave birth to 11 puppies yesterday morning.
For Mr Suilivan. who has had little sleep while looking after the dog in the last three days, the birth was a cause for a double celebration — it happened on his fifty-sixth birthday. "The puppies are all fine ‘it> animal*, and are doing ’veil."
