Ministerial denial
(N.Z.P..4.-Reuter — Copyright) ; PARIS, Feb. 6. The French Minister of Finance (Mr Valery Giscard d’Estaing) has discounted reports that he will be France’s next Prime Minister. In an interview yesterday with the commercial radio station, Europe One, he said: “What I want to emphasise above all is that this question does not concern me. I already have a post which is both absorbing and fascinating. Those who know me know that, at the present time, I am doing nothing to try to carry out another one.” Asked whether he would be a candidate at the 1976 Presidential election.
