Praise from Auckland
CVZ. Press Association! AUCKLAND. Three separate motions of congratulations to people concerned with the recent Commonwealth Games were last night passed by the Auckland City Council. They were to the Mayor, councillors, and people of Christchurch; the Games Organising Committee and its chairman (Mr R. S. Scott) and Mr C. M. Kay, the Auckland councillor who chaired the committee which raised 5150.000 as the Auckland contribution to the Games.
