In a series of raids over the last five days, detectives found the money in a variety of hiding places, and, at a small factory in east Melbourne, a printing press and photographic equipment. Four men have been arrested, and two others are being questioned in Zurich. The Victoria Police Crime Commissioner (Mr W. D. Crowley) last night described the forged notes as almost impossible to detect from genuine ones, although a machine used to count notes at the Reserve Bank in Melbourne would not process the forgeries yesterday because of the inferior quality of the paper.
