Thefts from boats
Three complaints have been received by the Lyttelton police, concerning ' the boarding of trimarans at Cass Bay. One trimaran has lost an outboard motor worth $3OO. A cassette recorder, hand bearing compass and a pair of binoculars with a total value of $2BB, have also been taken. Senior-Sergeant C. G. Evans, said yesterday that Cass Bay pleasure craft owners should check their craft, and advise the Lyttelton police if anything was missing.
