Provincial madison cycling abandoned
The open cycling meeting In Christchurch last evening, the first since the Commonwealth Carnes, was very poorly attended and the local club and provincial madison chamI polnships were abandoned. The race secretary <Mr B. E. Dawe) confirmed the Canterbury championships would still be held on February 16 and 17, but consideration would have to be given to calling them off if insufficient entries had been received by next week.
