A trail of broken fences, a snapped power pole and an overturned bus shelter were left by a truck (shown above) after a collision in Blenheim Road yesterday. After it was involved in a collision with a car, the truck skidded off the road, glanced off the bus shelter, and stopped against the power pole. Power to two houses was cut off more than an hour while workmen replaced the pole. No-one was seriously injured in the accident, which happened near the Hansons Lane intersection about 12.30 p.m.
