G. Davison, the president of the Canter-: [ bury Manufacturers’ Associa- ; tion, at yesterday’s meeting of the association’s council.; He said that the consultants had recommended that [ there should be less licens-i ‘ ing of road transport to the [ stage until it was phased , out altogether. '! The report could be ' summed up as calling for more competition between all modes of transport, and less restrictions, said Mr Davison.
