Pilbara area development
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter— Copyright) PERTH, February 1. : Japan is to establish a commiittee comprising representajtives of about 40 major industrial companies to colordinate Japanese plans for participation in the s6ooom development, concept for the resource-rich Pilbara area of Western Australia, it was announced after private talks with State government leaders. “There are many companies and groups in Japan who are interested in taking part in the Pilbara project and so the Pilbara Area Complex Development Study Committee will be formed with the participation of about 40 companies,” the Japanese mission leader (Mr K. Nagayasu) said. Official notification of the formation of the committee, would be made “very shortly” by the Industrial Location Centre.
