Pit Stops
The second driver in the Embassy Lola Formula 1 team this season will be G. Edwards, a 31-year-old British driver who has done well in Formula 5000 events, and who has been racing for nine years. The team’s number one driver is Graham Hill. M -F IB
The 1973 Motorsport Association gold star trials series results have been announced, and the winner is a combined Westland and Canterbury crew: R. Beime (Greymouth), J. Gallagher (Rangiora), C. Rabbidge (Greymouth) and P. Nixon (Christchurch). The series comprised five South Island events, and four in the North Island. The winning crew gained all their points in the South Island events.
