It was reported here yesterday that the Christchurch manager of The Perpetual Trustees Company, Ltd, Mr H. S. McMillan, would retire at the end of this year. (In fact, Mr McMillan retired at the end of last year, and Mr R. T. Pither has already 1 taken over as manager of the ;Christchurch branch.
