Attractive hostesses
Similar to the Christchurch Commonwealth Games, five attractive hostesses will help with arrangements at the “Horse of the Year” show in the presentations to the successful competitors, helping to look after special guests, and assisting in a variety of ways to help ensure the smooth running of the occasion. The hostesses are—Miss Robyn Pearson a teacher at Southbrook School, who was second in the Canterbury contest for hostesses at the Games. Miss Ann Couper, Banks Peninsula. Miss Jean Henderson, Oxford. Miss Sharon Walker, Yaldhurst. Miss Susan Hawke, Whiterock. Mrs Lois Young, of Kirwee, is convener of the hostesses.
