G. Bose made a sedate 104 in 305 minutes as India forced a draw in their first four-day unofficial cricket test against Sri Lanka in Colombo yesterday. India, facing a first innings deficit of 141 runs, had made 302 for six at the dose after almost a day and a half at the wicket. The visitors owed the result to a fine opening stand between Bose and S. Gavaskar (85), who put on 194 in 290 minutes. Bose's century included 13 boundaries and Gavaskar’s included 11. Scores: India 201 and 302/6 (G. Bose 104, S. Gavaskar 85, Amankad 50 n. 0.1, Sri Lav.ka 342.
