ESCAPES TO WEST Trials continue in E. Germany
fN.Z. PA.-Reuter—Copt/rtght) EAST BERLIN. A West Berlin woman has received an eight-year prison sentence in Frankfurt an der Oder, in Communist East Germany, for helping East Germans to escape to the West.
The official news agency, A.D.N., described the charge against Margot Neidhardt. in a continuing series of trials, in the customary phraseology: “anti-State human trafficking.”
The same Court had earlier imposed a seven-year sentence on a fellow-East Berliner, Herbert Neidhardt. Any relationship between the two Neidhardts has not been specified.
