BREEDERS’ SHOW
Although the Canterbury Breeders’ Show, which has large numbers of young stock which are particularly susceptible to strangles, has been cancelled, it has been decided by the Canterbury area committee of the Horse Society that the breeders’ show will be held at Rangiora on February 1,2, and 3, as only mature horses and ponies are involved. Princess Anne. Mrs Mark Phillips, will present, the major awards and Captain Phillips will place the garlands around the winning horses’ necks.
