Miller wins at Phoenix

Miller had birdies at the last two holes for a 4-under-par 67 yesterday and made the Phoenix open golf tournament his second victory in an unbeaten season. Miller, who won the Bing Crosby, national pro-am at Pebble Beach, California last week, won by one stroke. The United States Open champion. Miller, aged 26, who has broken par in every competitive round he has played this season, finished with a total of 271, 13 under par. He won SUS3O,OOO of the total purse of SUS 150,000. L. Wadkins was second with a last round of 65 and a total of 272, and third place was shared by M. Barber, H. Green and J. Schroeder, with a total of
