HEATHROW ARRESTS

Trio again remanded

The police formed a cordon around, a Magistrate’s Court in West London, when an American girl. Allison Thompson, aged 18, and two men were ordered to be held in custody for another week on firearms charges. Thompson, a former waitress and model from Santa Barbara, California, appeared in court with a Moroccan shopkeeper, Abdelkbir ElHakkaoui, aged 25, and a Pakistani student, Athar Naseem, aged 21, both of Santa Barbara.

All three are charged with conspiring with persons unI known to contravene the Firearms Act of 1968 by possessing arms and ammunition. Thompson is also charged with possession of a .22 automatic pistol without a firearms certificate.

There was no application for bail before the trio, who were arrested at Heathrow Airport, were remanded for i a second time.
