New Zealand dominated the third heat of the world O.K. dinghy yachting championship yesterday, with four of its boats finishing in the first five placings. The race was a disaster for the Swede. K. Axerot. He held second position until the last lap when he sailed too far south of the course and finished well back in the field.

The world cjiampion, C. H. Roberts (New Zealand), again sailed consistently. finishing fourth, and held a commanding lead in the series.

Placings yesterday were—G. Davies (New Zealand) 1, J. Daw-son-Edward (Britain) 2. J. Douglas (New Zealand) 3. C. Roberts (New Zealand) 4, G. Berleme (New Zealand) 5, J. Lindhersten (Denmark) 6. Other New Zealand positions were: G. Lock 9. G. Woodroffe 10 and B. Jacobi 11.

Leaders on points (with their worst heat dropped) are: Roberts 8.7, K. Axerot (Sweden) 10, P. Burford (Australia) 14.7, Woodroffe 16, Lindhersten 16, Douglas 18.7, T. Andrup (Denmark) 19.7.
