(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. Canterbury, Ashburton and Otago, with two wins each, lead the points table after the second day’s play in the South Island primary schoolboys cricket tournament at Alexandra. All three have 10 points, and are followed by North Canterbury on seven. Two vital matches will be played today when Canterbury and Ashburton meet in section If and Otago plays the secondplaced North Canterbury in section I. Results were:— Section I: Canterbury 127. beat Marlborough 66; Central Otago 184 beat North Otago 89; Ash-hin-ton 134/7 dec. beat Southland Section II: Nelson 190/3 dec. beat Eastern Southland 62: Otago 135/9 beat South Canterbury 91; North Canterbury 137/6 drew with Buller 60/5.
